Abdomen, Renal & Pelvic Scans
Using a specialised ultrasound probe that can image deep parts of the body, we are able to perform superior quality scans of the abdominal, renal and pelvic organs without the need of radiation.
We require a 6 hour fast for an abdominal ultrasound, and a full bladder for renal and pelvic ultrasounds. Please note that in some instances, an internal scan is offered with a female pelvic scan – this is an optional part of the scan, however provides superior imaging of the uterus and ovaries.
